I live in a small appartment in chennai where next to that there is a beautiful Neem tree living by, grown well wide enough to cover the vehicle park. Every morning when I wake up and go out least have glimpse of it, whenever I have seen it; it looked immensely happy and vibrant having the full aliveness which I could really feel, so does every one.
When I saw the same tree today morning It was shocking to see that tree was't so alive; it was kind of dull, hung its leaves without much aliveness. Why? I inquired with the other neighboring trees; I thought its was because of the weather condition but that was not the true reason.
The truth behind this was the day before; from EB thay have undertook the maintanence work whereas The branches of the tree was slightly touching the EB Service line, If thay had the patience for few more months. It might have grown passed the EB service line. Sad! that those people have cut the vital branch of that tree, it looked very miserable today. This should not have happened. We know it helps us in the long run of our life but for the sake of infatuated dreams and power over it; we humans have tortured the gift of nature. Even though it has given all its resource to enjoy without limitation.
I still wonder, why do we do this.?
Why haven't we realized the real truth of the nature.?
Why aren't we able to heed the truth even when it is kept befor us.?
We just need to stop and ponder for a while.
"Learn that whole life is of giving. If you come into life to accumulate. with clenched hands, you want to take. But nature puts a hand on your throut and makes your hand open. whether you will it or not, you have to give."
~Swami Vivekananda
